Who is the Messiah?
According to Prophet Isaiah
Scripture Text # 2
The
Messiah was to be a born into the descendants of David and reign
as King.
The Prophecy
Isaiah 9: 7
Of the increase of his government and peace there will be no
end. He will reign on David's throne and over his kingdom,
establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness
from that time on and forever. The zeal of the LORD Almighty
will accomplish this.
The
fulfillment of Prophecy
Matthew 1: 1,6
A record of the genealogy of Jesus Christ the son of David, the
son of Abraham: and Jesse the father of King David. David was
