According to King David

8. King David around the year 950 BC predicted that the true Messiah would die the death of the cross.

The Prophecy

"They have pierced My hands and My feet." Psalm 22:16

Remember that David wrote nearly a thousand years before Jesus, the Messiah was born into this world.
